Chronology of cameras Alpa
Presented at the 1977 Photexpo in Zurich, this camera is the result of a Swiss-Japanese collaboration and Japanese construction. It has a more modern appearance than its predecessor (the 100% Swiss Alpa 11). With the Si 2000, the brand aimed to appeal to a broader audience. The Si 2000 was assembled on a production line, while simultaneously the manufacturing of the 11Si remained manual and individual.
